Bought my holy grail off another member a few weeks back... a 1922 No.1 Mk.V.
My holy grail would be one that would be definate it was on the Western Front at Vimy Ridge, Somme, Passchendaele, ect.
1916 SMLE MkIII.......all matching........with a Kings Liverpool Scottish marking disk.......could imagine it to be my Grandfather's rifle:)
I'd like to find another 1956 No.4 Mk.2.
There should be several thousand of them out there, but they all seem to have disappeared, except for mine.
