I'm a new poster and registered today just so I could post a warning to the guy who wants to interchange ammo in Swedish and Danish 6.5 x 55 Mausers. On page #86 of his book, Doug Bowser specifically warns against shooting the Danish ammo in Swedish rifles. I am going right now to try to find the original thread and cite the warning.
Hello. Joined Milsurps because I am interested in manufacturing military gunstocks. Looking for information and also looking for original stocks to use as patterns for duplicating military stocks. Stocks that are broken and beat up are great for making into patterns.
Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks, customstockscustomstocks@yahoo.com

Hi,
I'm Molly, a fellow with a wide range of interests in guns, a reloader, a bullet caster, and former gunsmith. Nice to find this site, which I just stumbled across while looking for a current source for a Romanian Cugar M.69 or 1969 single shot 22 LR training rifle. Can anyone give me some guidance? You can e-mail me here: kennethmollohan@gmail.com
Hmmm. Don't know why it posted my email twice, but I guess it won't hurt anything. Hmmm again. It's twice in the draft version, but only once in the posted version. Strange, huh?
Thanks for any advice.

Hello from sunny California - I just registered and thought I would introduce my self.
I've been collecting since I inherited my Grandfather's artillary Luger that he picked up in the trenches in 1918.
I have concentrated on WWI and II bolt action rifles - but now I am looking for a M-1 Garand and carbine.
I never served, but I am currently a contractor and doing work on USMC bases in California and I visit their ranges that have been used from WWI to the present. I'll post some of the milsurp items I find on them from time to time.
Thanks

Hello all,
New Enfield owner here, and this seems like the place to be!
Cheers!
Hi.
This board keeps showing up in my searches for info on all things milsurp, so it is past time I joined.
Current milsurp project: Resurrecting a Franken-tini in .310 Cadet.
Just realized things might be confusing with a "RayP." and a "Ray_P" on the same board. Oh well.
