Hello and Glad to be Here!!
I am the latest FNG and am glad to find you folks!!
I feel very proud and lucky to be able to learn and maybe share info with guys who know.
I have a garand, m-1 carbine and a few mausers. I already feel myself getting smarter just checking the forums.
Thanks for the spot!

Supposed to say "Hi" . . . 50s . . . was a member of the Carbine Club roughly 1980 thru 2000 . . . Garand Collectors Assn 1985 to 2000 or so . . . at that time my US Military firearms collection ran over 100 weapons . . . Trapdoors & Cavalry Colts thru Korean "Police Action" Garands & rebuilt .45s . . . largest contingent was M-1 Carbines w/ over 50 different variations (only was missing 2 toughies) . . . Garands were second : a gas trap , WRA educational order , etc . twenty or so (for some unknown reason I am in Duff's red book's acknowledgement page , nothing there I contributed , so ?) . . . liked Krags ! smoooth . . . sold them all before the current explosion in interest to pay bills :crying: . . . just a couple nice ones now . . . looking for a few parts . . . will throw in my two cents worth at times . . . Enfields are my obsession
Hi;
I am a new member. I am 50+ and have been collecting on and off since 1972.
Alot of nice stuff has passed through my hands, but re-aquiring can be difficult.
I am currently searching markings on 1950`s Fazakerley No.4 Mk.2 enfields
Any help is appreciated!!! Looking forward to further discussions..
All the Best

1911 Remmington Rand 45 acp
I got a interesting 45.
This is a Remmington Rand Inc Parkerized with inspector"JM" still in new condition. What bothers me is:
1918 Colt frame s/n 233601-580600 (blue book info)
1943 1st Remmington Rand s/n **916405-1041404
It does not have any other stampings.
The s/n; 276XXX
What catagory does this fall into and what is the value??
