Hi Everyone,
I'm new here. Ex Army medic and bitten by the milsurp bug badly three years ago. I love history that you can actually hold and use. I am currently working on an MBA in healthcare administration and try to get to the range as often as I can. I have been reading this forum for a long time and decided to join.
As a new member I would like to say hi to everyone.I have been a shooter and collector for 30
years and I am a member of the HBSA.I shoot and collect mainly Lee enfields and early
American cartridge weapons.
Hi
just a quick introduction I have been collecting enfield service rifles for about ten years have some space left in the cabinets so still on the look out for more!
Been collecting milsurps on a low level, occasional basis for over 40 years. My favorite is a Springfield '03-A4 which I got from a WW2 vet (Marine) who got several days on bread and water for trying to take it home when he was discharged in 1946. Surprisingly, when he was released from the brig, they gave him back all his belongings including the Springfield.

Discovered your site sometime into the third hour of trying to get a new hammer spring installed on my M1 Carbine. Was able to pick up some tips which led to a successful finish. I seriously thought I was going to be at it all night long--thanks for the assistance......JKL
I've been occasionally lurking for a while now, and after several reminders, I figured I should not just sit on the sidelines.
I have a meager collection of five Service Grade CMP M1's, 2 of them built up from barreled receivers when parts weren't so pricey. Interests include Shooting, hunting, handloading, fishing, etc.
I don't spend a whole lot of time on forums, as I'm way behind on loading ammo and getting in some all too infrequent trigger time, but I'm looking forward to the occaisional discussion if I have something worthwhile to contribute.
Any old-timer CMP forum members here?? I lost track of JohnEB and a few other old-timers after we stopped posting on the old CMP forum. I'd love to hear from them.
Have a great day all!
