Hello,
I attached a picture of the extractor and frame from a used 1911A1 that I purchased. Not sure about the blob of metal on the end of both. Should it look like that? When assembled the rear end of the extractor wiggles like a fish.

Hello,
I'm a new member to the site. I recently retired, and I hope to get more involved in collecting WWII items.
I really enjoy finding an item, especially things I had years go, but was dumb enought to sell instead of keeping.

Hello -
Found your site in my eternal quest for knowledge. I think i have found a treasure trove.
Relatively new to firearms, but have fallen in love with the old warriors. Have a small collection started, and hoping to add to it in the future.
Looking forward to learning and sharing with you all.
