Not sure about this one................... L42A1 AFO965 fitted with scope AL9169. Is there any record please, as the receiver is engraved L42A1D71?

How about this, PF218187. I know its not a L8xxx, Its a no4 mk2, yet its a 7.62nato. Interestingly, it was at some point Regulated by Fultons for target shooting. From what I can find so far 1800 were made in that batch I think?....it maybe its a conversion? or it maybe that batch were all 7.62nato? for trials and this is a forerunner of the L8 guns? I cant determine. Im going to look at it shortly to see what other detail I can get off it. Advice on what to look at to try and determine if its original or a conversion would be appreciated.

It is definately not an MoD 7.62mm rifle/conversion

767 rifles made and a good proportion still in existance somewhere, be good to see the price climb up in the not too distant future, reflecting the breed

053 was issued to Bristol Police on the 4th March 1974 AIN: 444151/10
