New member introductions thread ......

New Member here... I have a US Springfield Armory Model 1903 Mark 1 Built Jan 1920... I am a gun collector that is still fairly new at it... I also just completed a Machining class at a local school.

I have been trying to locate Machinist prints (for several years) for the Pederson device to see if I was able to make a functioning replica of the "Pipsqueak Pistol" simply to do it.

I also am looking at the Prospect of Building from scratch My own M4(Semi Auto of course) and/or an SR25/AR10 still have not really decided which I will go with yet.

I am glad to be here and I am sure I will be able to learn alot.. Thanks for the Forum.

Glad to be a part of this forum. I have a Winchester 1917 with Remington Bayonet, Mosin Nagant, British 303 (U S Property) sporterized. Also have a chance to buy a French MAS MLE 1936 serial # m 80867. It is in good shape and appears it would be a good shooter. What should I offer? What about 7.5 X 54 ammo? Is it priced right? Hey All!! I'm a new member. Retired USN (CWO-Engineering) and lover of all things Military. I have a great fondness for John Moses Browning's 1911 45acp pistol. ( happy hundreth birthday!!) I am looking at a Garand rifle now and thought I'd tap this groups knowledge to learn about it. This site has pictures of an Italian Garand that are very close to the one I'm looking at. THE ONLY OTHER NOTABLE DIFFERENCE FROM THE GARAND PICTURES ON MILSURPS IS THAT MY RIFLE DOES NOT HAVE ANY NUMBERS ON THE STOCK. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE AN AUTHENTIC SLING AND MAYBE A BAYONET. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY INFO / RESCOURCES ON THIS RIFLE. Jeff
