New member introductions thread ......

Just a quick hello to you all, I have perused this forum on and off when researching different subjects, finally joined and have been pestered ever since to introduce myself.

I have a varied interest, Fullbore Target Rifle, Service, Field Class and Rimfire. I am an Armourer/Dealer, 26 years military Service- Army, a collector of Military bolt actions, having lost a nice Auto collection to Jackboot Johnny, and my current interest is Target sight collecting.

I note that there is a lot of expertize out there and I will probably be picking a few brains shortly, so once again, hello.

Hello, I just registered a few minutes ago. I presently have a C&R license and have been a gun collector all of my life. This looks like a very interesting place to spend time on the web...

I'm a new member. Just starting to be interested in military rifles. Looking forward to learning from the collective and contributing sometime down the line.

I currently have a SA 1903, and a SC 1903A3 - looking to learn about them and such...

Hi all. I'm what you'd call an "accidental" collector. I woke up one day and pulled all my guns out and said "D#mn!" :move eek:
I'm a 25yr+ soldier,2 combat tours(Desert Storm 1989-90 and Desert Goat Rope2005-06),who likes to take his work home with him.:lol: Machinist,welding instructor for Uncle Sam right now.
Always liked the old "battle rifles" and the smell of cosmolene and corrosive ammo.
I shoot a Mossberg 44us property .22 with peeps mostly now. $$$$ammo but love all the older mossberg 22's. Like finding the old "pawnshop" mossy .22's. Love finding out the info and history of them and the military guns.
Some strange reason my military rifle side of the safe got bigger and bigger.

a big hello to all forum readers. i have just found this site. it is a great site with so many interesting threads . i am an ex shooter now, having fairly recently given up shooting after about 40 years, but i still have a keen interest in the military weapons of ww2 . i have have shot or handled many of the rifles and pistols from this period during my shooting years. i am from the north west of england. once again hello everybody, pleased to meet you .
