Here is mine. No 4 MK1* Longbranch 1944 S/N -81L3666,CAI import,non-grooved handguard,brass-buttplate W/ broad arrow mark.Ladder sight, mag has matching number,Forestock does not, original number was struck and renumbered to match. It has ishy screw and on inside of butt plate door there is a stamped (P) and 55. Do you think it did service in Pakistan?
1943, CAI import marked, sn 37L4015, forestock, receiver, bolt, magazine numbers match. Grooved upper handguard, ishy screw. MK 1 rear sight
Here is mine 1942 Long Branch No4 Mk1* 2 groove 10L4995 and 44941 also. Non-import marked and, as new everything matches. It originally had the flip type rear sight, I installed a ladder type as I shoot this rifle in Vintage Rifle competitions.
Thanks, Andy

Here is what I have so far...
1941 - 0L7277
1943 - 41L8767
1944 - 72L7459
1949 - 91L1151 (originally the last number was stamped as a 0 but crossed out and the 1 was added)
1950 - 93L4283
Picked this one up at the weekend -
Long Branch No.4 Mk.1 1941- serial number 1L2702
Rifle has all original components (1 or 2 missing, but relatively easy to replace), but the wood has been abused, and the rear micrometer sight (Long Branch-stamped) has had a vee cut in the 300 yard aperture.
