Do what I do and check ebay every day. One will eventually come up. Right now they have a few type A's and a bunch of type C's.

Hi Our police and navy used the Type A marked SAP or just numbered (Navy)
The Type B was used by the police (
officers)and is available here if interested I have sent some to collectors overseas for swaps!
The Type C was used by the Army
We also manufactured the UZI bayonet often mistaken as the B type
That's interesting Lobo - and getting way off the thread but......... At the Small Arms School at Warminster we had a SA UZI 9mm barrel with No4 bayonet lugs on it. Obviously professionally done as the lugs aligned exactly with the radial positioning segment. With it was a standard SA made 'No9 Mk1' Uzi-bladed bayonet. Whether the two came as a pair for some sort of trial (unlikely as we never expressed much interest) or just came together there in the past is unknown. Did anyone in SA use or trial the SA made No9 bayonet on the little UZI?
I do have what was sold to me as a "British No9 bayonet for the No4 Rifle" which I innocently purchased from a well known U.K. dealer about 20 years ago. I later discovered it to be of South African origin and it does fit the No4 rifle (I have tried) but the blade is shorter than the No9 and is a different double edged shape. The blade has what I would describe as a "Standard F.N. bayonet blade" shape blade. I have since heard others stating that this bayonet was made in South Africa by Armscor in the 1960s using the Uzi design of blade and/or surplus Uzi blades. It has been suggested by others a few times that this bayonet was intended for the No4 rifle but this is the first time that I have heard the possibility of it being used/intended for the Uzi. It does make perfect sense it being for the Uzi.

Hello Peter Yes, the no9 with the FN blade was made by Armscor and issued here for the No 4 rifle Not sure why thy bothered as there were plenty Bowie bladed versions available. This was not used on the Uzi The Uzi bayonet is similar bayonet as the type B but the rear catch and slot differ Our version has a smooth black finish The one made in Israel has a mat grey finish
