Hello to all Milsurp fans!
Interested by the Lee-Enfields. Own 2 No 1's sporters. Hoping to eventually own a no4 in good original condition. I started reloading for these rifles hoping to improve accuracy. ( 4 to 5 inches at 100 meters with commercial ammo )
Greetings all. New member on this forum, been lurking for awhile but family and work issues being what they are, Ive not yet posted. Brief intro: 60 yr old cauc male, POB Detroit, now in southern Colorado since early 1970s. Been into firearms and sharp things for as long as I can remember, fired first rifle at age 7 and no lookin back. C&R, modest collection, mainly focussed on Mausers. Enjoy pistols and revolvers and have owned a wide selection over the years, both collector stuff and duty weapons. Have a 10 yr old son who follows in Dad's tracks, IF he can get his "stuff" together and keep it together! He certainly would like to have my toys, but as I remind him, I ain't dead YET! Have worked in various aspects of the justice system and have a degree in same. Im the guy who has used or owned quite a few weapons but rarely goes to the range- "having" is more important than shooting- this has gotten more pronounced as age sets in! Still have the first guns I fired (my Dad's) Mauser bring-back ww2 8mm, and a 16 gauge Marlin pump that is over 100 yrs. These rarely see any activity cause there is more modern stuff in the armory.
Also enjoy street-bikes, reading, history, "action" and horror movies and playin on the computer.

hello all. new member here. i mainly "collect" mosins, but just acquired 2 new rifles in a trade(6.5mm swedish mauser, steyr mannlicher m95) and needed some info and parts. during my search i found this website. glad to be here but, sadly, this surplus rifle business seems to be addictive.
