Hello, I'm new to military collecting but eager to learn more.
Hello All,
I'm new to this site, but I'm already loving what I see. So much to lean, so little time! I'm a collector with a passion for com-block surplus.

Im Chris from Birminham in England Interested in German WWII firearms and their development, have been collecting since 1982 but changes in the laws have forced me to sell all my live firing guns, I had MG34, MG42, MP44, G43, 6x K98k's 2x G98's 3x K98AZ's, Panzerschreck, Panzerfaust60m, M43Flamethrower, 81mm mortar, sadly all gone now.
Good Day All!
I am new to the forum today. My favourite surplus firearm is the Lee-Enfield SMLE No.1 Mk III / Mk III*. I don't own any military surplus firearms yet, but hope to start my collection soon with one of these (imho) iconic rifles. In a broader sense, my interest in milsurps lies in bolt action rifles of the First and Second World Wars.
I was introduced to military surplus firearms through participation in military re-enacting in Ontario. My interest started there and has continued with my service in the Canadian Army.
I look forward to learning from the immense fund of knowledge in this community as I build my collection! Hopefull,y I will learn things over the years from collecting that I can contribute to the community as well.

New member from Ohio. Interests are mainly shooting US military arms. Garand matches, etc., Camp perry included. I do have my sights on a Swedish Mauser that's up for auction next week. Would be good for the Vintage matches. Other interests include fishing, aviation, and hunting. I reload everything centerfire, and cast for my replica Sharps and 1873 Trapdoor.
Hello all. I'm new to the forum. I've been a competitive shooter and instructor for more years than I care to admit, but I have only recently developed an interest in the older military firearms. I can see there is a wealth of information to be gleened from you folks.I'm hopeful that I will be in a position to contribute at some point. Thank you for allowing me to participate. I'm honored.
Hi, I'm the new guy.
Starting buying milsurp back in the 80's when the laws changed. Not really a collector, but fell in love with Swedish Mausers and Finnish M.N.'s, so got a few of those.
Anyway, my secret love is the Bren, don't know if I'll ever get to fire one in real life. Don't even know why I think they are cool, they just are, must be the old B&W war movies when I was a kid. :)
Found this site recently and like to read the information.
