Hello everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been collecting mil-surp rifles for a few years now (I've yet to get any mil-surp pistols, but one day soon) along with modern guns, and I'm looking forward to reading/learning a lot of info on the subject, and even put in my $0.02 worth.
Hi all, I am not really a new member, just a lapsed one. I had to re-register and everything since this board has changed a bit since I was last here a few years ago. Good to be back!
I have been "lurking" long enough, I guess. Looks like you have a great forum here & I look forward to participating. I am a Viet Nam vet, nearing retirement from my second career. I collect Mosin Nagants, but am looking for a Mauser project rifle - preferably in 8mm. I live in SC - mainly because it's my home & also because you don't have to shovel sunshine. Thanks for letting me share in your hobby/vocation/obsession, whatever it is that makes us spend money on 50+ year old guns........Butch (Brownwater).
