New member introductions thread ......

I recently went out and bought myself a couple of new guns for Christmas. I thought it was about time,I have a dozen or so weapons,including pistols, shotguns, and rifles, but it's been almost 15 years since I fired any of them. I hope it's like riding a bike you never forget how, but being 72 years young one never knows. Bought a 9mm Sig Sauer and SKS, This is waht happens when you start watching those darn guns shows on TV. Thought this would be a good place to go if I need any information and or advice.

Hello Gentlemen (and ladies if present). I am new the the forum but have had some great fun buying milsurp rifles and handguns, primarily U.S. and German. I hope to explore the site and learn more about my hobby. I have an 03 FFL and a California COE (Certificate of Eligibility) meaning this left wing state says I can own firearms (Don't get me started). Merry Christmas to all and have a prosperous New Year.

Been in the milsurp game for a while.
From Queensland Australia.
I've spent ten years working in East and West Africa.
I enjoy competing in Service rifle matches, both rimfire trainers and centerfire.
Funny most probably expect Aussies to have mainly .303s, I sort of have everything but.
I've got a couple of Remington 1903a3s and a Springfield 1903Mk1 {with the pederson cutout}
A couple of Swedes, a couple of K31{just about my favorites}.
A mint M941 k98.
A really nice Eddystone M17.
A 1904/39 Port Verguiro.
Three Enfield .22 trainers, a M82 Cooey and a BSA war office pattern trainer.

As you can see a pretty broad spectrum.:thup:

Well it's X-mas eve here, I'm at work in the Coal Mines but will be home this arvo with the kids.

New member, just picked up a ROFM No4 Mk1 1941 that has been sporterized. No intentions of restoration, maybe carry on where previous owner stopped. Regards, John

I have collected WWI/WWII military for years, but somehow wasn't aware of this forum. I ran across it when Googling for info on an Albion No 2 revolver I just picked up, and of course had to join! I look forward to this being a great resource.

Now, to find an HAC No 2...

I have been a member for a while and need to introduce myself. I collected Milsurps years ago when they were available and cheap and I was just out of the service. Sold out when I started to raise a family..3 kids..and now I almost cry when attending gun shows. Anyhow 40 years later....today...am starting to collect again but on a less serious level. Am into Finish Mosin Nagants..Russian SKS..and a few AK's. Love this site................
