Howdy folks. Have been into the shooting sports for some time. Have owned couple of M-1 s.
Just came into a new rilfe, the o3a3.
Look forward to hearing from all and expanding my knowledge of the military weapons of the past.

Hi, my name is Del and I'm new to the group, so here's a bit of an intro.
I collect mostly Canadian Militaria and focus on 1 Can Para related and RCAF items. I do dabble in EBay sales and military surplus so you may see me on line hawking extras occasionally.
Presently I'm searching for M1 helmet liners at a good price and large volume if possible.
It is always better to be safe than sorry. I am a retired retired armourer and Canadian Veteran. Hello and I would like to say I enjoy this site.
TomD here, I 've been on your forum before but got lost in the shuffle, so hello again!
Hello, I have just been shown several WWI & WWII Weapons that a very nice widow would like to sell and I look forward to learning more about them. This Forum was recommended to me as the best around for information on the weapons and their value.
Best regards and Happy New Year to all
Great site, I just came across a 1950 C no4 MK1* It seems to be in pretty good shape. Did notice the trigger pull was off (just barley touched it and it would fire) also I noticed when cocking it would fire when putting the bolt forward (not all the time). I found the thread on the trigger mechanics and pulled every thing apart and cleaned the grease etc. Put it back together and seems to work better. I think it still needs some fine tuning. I have fired it about 10 timesat 50yrds with the normal sights. Off just a little of center. I plan to get a scope and mount here and lots of other goodies.
Hello everyone. I was checking out some of the threads on here and found it to be an interesting community. Thanks for letting me join.
Hi all, I'm new to using forums but not new to collecting Military weapons. My intrest has been mainly US military battle rifles. I have all of the usual, and I shoot them all. My next goals are to put together a represenitive rifle from each of the major powers of WWII. I have the US covered naturally, I'm lacking France (as if they were a major power), Itally, and Japan. I'm not looking for high end perfect condition, but honest, straight military as issued, good safe shooters. I prefer a rifle that "Saw the Elephant" to one that was never issued.
My other collecting intrest is in lend lease guns, both wars. I wish guns that tell the lend lease story, as that story needs told, and so few know it. If you can help with my goals, I'd be glad to hear from you.
I take folks on shooting history lessons. You should consider doing the same. I take up to 4 people at a time. I have a rifle from each of America's major wars. As we shoot them, I tell how and when they were used, how they were an improvement on what came before, their strengths and weeknesses. It is great fun and folks learn a lot. We shoot a Flint Lock Kentucky Long rifle through an AR-15 and all inbetween. I'll be interested in what you have to say. Out
Have been collecting for several years. I reload for all my military rifles, would be intersted in hearing about your reloading experiances.
