New guy reporting in. I mostly collect and shoot Garands and M1 carbines. I also have some 1911s and Lugers. Always looking for the next addition to my collection. I am in search of a nice Ithaca 1911 that I would be willing to trade a Luger for.

Sweet sweet meat.
Does anyone have marinade suggestions?
Thanks ahead of time...
Found this place a long time ago then lost it until recently. Collect everything from 19th century to modern shooters. Especially like the Martinis, but also have Smellies, P-14's, Mossy-Nagants, and on up to modern stuff.
Hello , I'm coming in as a new member. My biggest interest is the M1 Garand and M1 Carbine.
I got introduce to them in the early 50s. I have a couple and still looking and finding more information on them. I also acquired a M95 long rifle which is very interesting with its History.
thanks guys,
John

Howdy...just joined after accidentally finding your site  I belong to a number of gun related forums and enjoy reading and participating in these. I look forward to incorporating this site into my daily routine. I am retired after 42 years working in the education field as a teacher, administrator, and consultant. I am also retired from the US Army Reserve.
I have a number of weapons including 7 SKS's (Yugos, Russian, Chinese, and Romanian), 9 Finnish M-39's, 2 91/59's which I've been told are not commonly found, 4 very nice M-38's, and four Makarovs. My wife tells me that this makes me an old "junk" collector :yikes: but we know better, don't we.
My current hobbies include browsing internet gun and related forums, reading historical fiction and biographies, working and/or firing my guns, and my family especially my grandkids.
Look forward to becoming and active participant
Thanks for allowing me to be part of this great forum of freedom loving patriots.
This great site has already been good to me. I've enjoyed perusing the outstanding Posts, with their wealth of valuable information. I also very much enjoy the occasional "Funny" offered up by those whose sense of humor is out of control. I'm glad to be here with you all. Thanks for having me. Sonny B, Oak Hill, WV, USN, Retired
