When it really happens: SHTF...

I think this virus will be around for a long long time and we will all adapt quite easily to its demands until a Global vaccine is found..........not just the one they are using in Beijing and Shanghai where there have been no outbreaks (alledgely)!!!!

Just thinking this morning even if the vaccine came out this week, it would take another 52 weeks to get everybody in the UK done, and I am sure it will not work for all, with some pitfalls with bringing something like this in too fast.

Cinemas may as well close, as people have become so adapt at streaming films, buses will need to have single seats with social distancing "approved" also on trains/undergrounds, taxi's.
Masks and gowns and gloves will be the thing to invest in as demand sky rockets.

As long as key workers can get into the bullet factories and ranges return back to normal, at least we will all be happy, unless of course you can layout on the back porch and shoot to your hearts content anyway........lucky devils.
Whereever, and whatever you are up to.......STAY SAFE and we will, hopefully, remain working together as one humanity, not as greedy individuals or Governments with various agendas!!:thup:!

My stable of fast movers is squandering away on trickle chargers, buy the time lock downs over winter will be here so riding curtailed until at least late August early Sept you can try and ride in between but allot of roads here get moss on them not the thing for 2 wheelers.....

Not much to report here except to watch and see the results in England and the USA yeah and each day rolls into one.......................................!

As time goes on the health profession are bound to find better ways of treating patients with the "Virus". This could be with procedures, with drugs that are in current use for other ailments/diseases/illnesses, with health care machines/new equipment and in other ways. There are thousands of doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals treating "Virus" patients in many countries right across the world and as time passes, treatments are bound to evolve, new bits of kit are likely to be produced and new ideas are likely to evolve as to the best way of treating people. One would hope that with the passage of time, of those admitted to hospital, the fatality rate would drop and the survival rate increase.

The big problem I see is that the Health Care people here in OZ are blinded by the one virus, and ignoring other symptoms in their haste to get the patient thru the system.

My wife was diagnosed as having the Virus and Influenza A, just sent home to isolate until her cough subsided, which took 3 weeks, then without retesting, they gave her the all clear.
By that time she was sicker than when the virus was active, her condition kept deteriorating until we managed to get clearance for a retest for her and myself.

That was yesterday, by 11.0 p.m she was on her way into intensive care, where she is today.
Diagnosed with Pneumonia as a result of the combination of the two virus's she had initially.

So I don't think all is totally rosey here in OZ either, despite the low infection rate.

It won’t make you feel better, but it is the same almost everywhere.
I fear that the last few years have brought a new generation of incompetent leaders everywhere. The dark side of Internet and “social” media. You don’t need to know what you’re talking about. You just have to know the way to stir the mood of people. So, now that SHTF, we all find out what happened and in whose hands we all are...

Just an update from NJ, Southern NJ is starting to experience an up tick in corona virus cases as the Northern NJ is in decline. Starting to get some supplies of firearms in the gunshop. Just received 17 Troy Defense Industries A4 Other firearms, I believe these will be gone by the end of next week. Also expect a 9 rifle shipment of S&W M&P 15 rifles sometime later next week, so the manufacturers are starting to broke loose with some firearms still no 9mm Glocks to be had.

Since it’s your job, what do you think of the HK45 Tactical. I want a .45 ACP, and they seem to be ok and fairly cheap...

Ovidio- There is nothing wrong with the HK45 Tactical. Excellent pistol! Even though it comes with a threaded barrel, it has the standard low sights if you want to put a suppressor on the pistol. You may have to get the raised sights for the suppressor If you can get it cheap great! Putting HK and cheap in the same sentence seems wrong! LOL! It would be great buy.

Well West Au recorded only 1 infection and that was in Kalgoorlie but we still lost in Australia another couple of people but we must not get complacent our Govt lockdown is working though a few have found out the their detriment not to flout the law fines do not really deter them perhaps prison lockdown might.
I see the USA is having issues over the lockdown I really thought that NY would show them that Covid-19 is not a joke I just hope with all those people gathering together that the virus does not get a new grip to explode like wild fire and wipe out 1000's more, I do not enjoy the lockdown but understand its value I'm lucky to still have work but on weekends to sit at home polishing bikes or movies gets a bit boring hence I am bookworming much better pass time.

All the best to you guys out there in the world keep yourself and family safe and eventually we will be out again but the world will not be the same, I spoke to my friend today on my mobile (Was not Siri either!) and we both areed our generation like allot of you here 60's-70's-80's-90's were the best years to be on planet earth especially late 60's to early 80's we again both agreed the future world after this won't be nice though we won't have to worry to much about it for long.
I was fortunate to be ar*se end Charlie of my family so got to listen to all the war songs and before WII as Dad was born in 1913 and with an elder brother and 2 elder sisters I had their music as well Happy Days.........
