Hello,
New member with a new passion for the history and use of military guns. I have been shooting since I was a child and getting more and more in to history. Just recently joining the two. I picked up a M1 Garand last Saturday and can't wait for the weather to clear so I can go shoot it. I've learned a lot from you guys already like the proper ammo to use in this beautiful rifle.
Cheers,
John
Hello all, I've lurked around the site for a while and finally got around to joining. I have a No4 Enfield that is currently in storage and it is a Fazerkly that I bought almost 20years ago with all numbers matching as well as the short bayonet with matching numbers. I'm currently thinking about finding myself a Jungle Carbine for deer hunting, can't be much of a hunter in Canada unless you used a .303 at some point or another.
Hi All,
New member! Found you guys while researching and learning about
some guns I've collected. Amazing archive and collection of knowledgeble gents!
Hoping to get your thoughts and share a special rifle that I'll post when I got a sec.
Long Branch 1943 NO.4 mk1*-No serial #/Presentation rifle ('45)
Hello everyone my name is Mike and I am a massive gun fan, Like most gun nuts I have my like and dislikes when it come to a weapon. My likes are military rifles bolt or semis. At present I have a couple of German rifles , US M16, FNH FS2000, and now am starting on a FAL or two or three. It all depends on when the wife gets wise to the new guns when it stops. I look forward to talking with some of you as I learn more about my passion.
Hello everyone, I am new to this Forum and the amount of detailed & quality communication on milsurps is very impressive. I have a modest collection of rifles that collected several years ago. I am looking forward to doing a deep dive into my collection and learning more.
Thanks,
Devin
Hi All! New member been collecting for over 40yrs.
Hi, new guy here. I own a few firearms, started looking at older ones now. My first milsurp is a CETME I got three years ago. I recently picked up a 1918 No.1 Mk III*, a Vz54/91, and an FN-49. This is my third or forth post, so it's kind of awkward. Anyway, nice forum, I'm on a few other forums too.

Hi to all.
User Name is HUSSON1945. Just joined today, 25 January 2012. Looking for information, buyers and traders. I am new to all this. Have lots of WWII stuff I need information on. Thanks
Collector, and a " Work on My stuff only Gunsmith" of Military firearms ranging from my 45-70 Springfield trap door to the AR-15 in an A2 configuration with quite a few in between from places over seas as well.
My next project will be to get the bugs out of my M1 Tanker (built on a Springfield receiver).
Then when I practice up on my TIG welding enough, I plan to Weld two different halves of a cut M1 Receiver into one again, then I will have a Winchester name on the receiver to build on. My best M1 is an International Harvester built in the same year and month I was born. Another M1 is the one I got from my DCM participation that was built early in WWII. My M1A (semi M-14) is built from a kit on a Springfield Armory receiver. I would love to get another M1 parts kit. If enough of us vote right, that might be possible.
