THe action is from a genuine No.4(T) - just fitted a No.5 barrel. forend and butt which can all easily revert to the original configuration
I forgot about the No5, neat little carbine .... Kicks like a whole platoon of mules though !
Late No5 Mk1. with capped forend.
MLE's, CLLE's or any of the Long Lee Enfields.

Fred,is that your long lee target rifle on gunbroker??Looks great.
it looks absolutely beautiful, and I cannot afford it. What is wrong with this picture? Why are my wife and children not out working to support my habit.
When is DEMO going to let us in on the big secret?:confused::confused:
You Aussies have a natural advantage in that you walk around upside down all the time: blood rushes to the head, the brain becomes extremely active and the rest of the world has trouble seeing what is so obvious to you. Rest of us don't have that because we are right-side-up and so the blood flows toward our feet, rendering us silly enough to buy Rolf Harris records:eek:, watch Paul Hogan films:eek::eek: and buy Yellow Tail wines:eek::eek::eek:. You guys make zillions and we are still wondering what hit us. And some of us are still wondering about that little Shorty.
Sure some NICE rifles on this thread! My old junkers would look SO out of place!
