I got this M1913 16" today, unfortunatly no scabbard, just the blade. One of the wooden grips has been repaired.

Sorry, the model is M1905 and not M1913.
Nice year of manufacture Bizio! I find that one VERY desireable! Mine's later. WW1 issue. You can get replacement scabbards from a couple of US manufacturers and the one I had was a very good reproduction of 1910 scabbard. I don't know if that's the sort of thing you're after. Here's pics of the one I found.

Your baio has really good wooden grips.
I think I will replace my grips with plastic ones as it was sometime done in 1942.
I also bought last night at ebay a M3 scabbard 16" (original or a repro ? )

That's a real scabbard. If that's the one you bought you did well. The grip scales are around and shouldn't be hard to find. Don't throw out the walnut, you'll be able to sell them later.

I already found and bought the plastic grips at Italian ebay, I hope they can fit a M1905 bayo.

I have re gripped a couple of Garand bayonets. Try a loose dry fit without tightening the screws. You may need to file down the pommel end of the grips a little. If you force them they can crack. Also oil the locking parts whilst the bayonet handle is stripped down. Check to see if the cross guard is level. If it is bent it could brake the locking pins on your new scabbard. You have had a nice find. These bayonets sell in the UK for between £200 to £400, that's if you can find one of course! So enjoy your exhibit.

Bayo and its scabbard seem really new and parkeriz. at 99%

I guess we can say there's no doubt about that one?? Very nice. Now you have one to compare when the other arrives. That's the scabbard I have as well, it's the one you will usually see as the M1910's were mostly worn out by WW2.
