Hi All,
I'm new to this site but have been collecting Milsurp's, C and R's and anything that looks cool or talk's to me for 6 years or so. I also took up reloading since ammo is hard to come by for some of the guns I've purchased like my 1917 Webley Mark VI in .455. I can't wait to share some of my photo's and find out more about some of my gun's history. My oldest gun is a 1888 German Commison rifle that was Turked, and newest is a Yugo SKS 59/66A1. Where is the spell check?
Just getting started with a pair of 1903a3 rifle builds. One is going to be a "Griffin-Howe" reproduction and the other is going to be a 35 Whelen build for hunting.

I've been collecting and shooting since the mid-1980's. I'm on Fal Files, Gunboards, and militaryphotos.net under the same name. Primary interests include Swedish Mausers, Enfields, FALs, and other military firearms. I also collect militaria.
I served in the US Marine Corps and Oregon National Guard.

New member here, just registered.
Born and grew up in upstate New York in an area so rural we needed to keep our own tomcat. I lived in Texas for a dozen years in the Seventies and Eighties and am currently mummifying in Phoenix with my second wife and our two young sons.
I'm a long-time shooter; my Dad started teaching me to shoot on an old Crossman air pistol when I was four and since I'm presently in my mid-sixties, I've been at it off and on, for a long time.
I have a small collection, a totally mixed-bag, ranging from a new-in-the-box Win/FN .308 semi-auto to a Romanian AK 'pistol', to several Swede 6.5x55 Mausers (including a sweet li'l '94 carbine!), an early Mod. 52 Winchester target rifle (SN: 702 -- I said it was early), a Savage Mod. 19NRA I shot in competition in high school, two Webley revolvers (a Mk III and a Mk VI - both 'cut', unfortunately), a 5" Bull Barrel Ruger Mk I, a Schmidt-Rubin K31 and a lovely little 1862 Colt Pocket Police made (judging from the serial #) in 1864. As you can see, kind of eclectic -- no particular rhyme or reason to the collection except what I personally like (or just got a deal I couldn't refuse). Some I've acquired myself and some, like the 52 Winchester and the little 1862 Colt, I inherited from my Dad, who bought it for $12.50 right after he'd gotten home from a tour of the islands of the South Pacific with the Marines.
If I can't be shooting (and there seems to be less and less time), I enjoy reading (mostly History or Science-Fiction), model building, drawing and painting. Most of my working life has been spent drafting or scientific and technical illustration. I once worked as an artist with Aurum Etching, a subsidiary of Colt's Custom Gunshop (before Colt ran 'em into the ground), where we cranked out a bunch of Colt Commemorative editions.
So, that's me in a nutshell (and some would say, an entirely appropriate place).
I look forward to getting to know some of you guys and learning some things about military collectibles, etc.
Hi guys, just stopping in hoping to learn a little more about a Lee Enfield number 4 mk1 I've had tucked away in a closet for years.
About 20 yrs ago my father past away and one of the things that he left to me was a 1887 Martini Henry Enfield.
So I joined this forum so I can do some reading on what everyone has posted about this gun.
