Hi everyone, new member here from California just got my first Lee Enfield (No. 4 Mk1) about a month ago and love it. I'm a fan of milsurps in general and have already found these forums to be a great source of info. Happy to be here.
I am new to the forum. I have alot of questions and interests. Thanks in advance for your help and insight.
I have a Reising .22 pistol with serial number 1000. I uderstand the ser. numbers began at 1001 and went to 4000, but my now deceased Dad said it was the prototype. How can I ascertain this. The grips are excellent, not much blue and no pitting. Hasn't been fired in over 30 years and a few guys at Melbourne FL gun show today really liked it. What is the approximate value if it is the prototype? Thank you, GDoerner@cs.com

Hi everyone. I'm a Vietnam veteran; retired now and living in the foothills of North Carolina. I hope someone can clear up a question about a knife I just bought.
How can I post some photos of the knife? It has the word Commando on it and I'd like to find out if it's authentic or some kind of knock-off.
Good day to everyone out there!
As an avid Enfield collector, and keen service rifle shooter, the posts available here at Milsurps have been invaluable.
As soon as I am able, I will begin to post pictures and info regarding various items in my growing collection.
Keep up the great work!
Jon
Hello every one. I am kinda new at this so bear with me. I have just purchased a Yugo M70. Can some one tell me enything about this fire arm?
Hello to all. I am new to this online forum stuff and I have question that brought me here. I have recently purchased a no4 mark1 10 shot magazine. It is marked with U.C.F. I wonder if anyone knows what it stands for? The nearest I have been able to find is U.C.M (upper Canadian militia)?
I thank you for your time.
