Hey, guys, my name is Chris (online, I go by "2fit") and I'm new to the forum. For those who would like to know, I am a new collector of classic and military firearms and I look forward to the wealth of knowledge that you gentleman (and woman) have to offer. Hello everyone, my name is Perley (PJ) J Davenport. I am originally from Easton, Maine and now live in Terre Haute, In. I am a Army Combat Veteran from the Vietnam War 1967-68 11th L.I.B. Americal Division. I am married with one daughter who is 21. I work at a Trucking company. I collect WW11 & Vietnam era rifles and bayonets and a few pieces of equipment from Vietnam like Helmet, Flak jacket, pistol belt, 45 holster,canteen, boots, Jungle Fatigues, and a 1943 US Army 1911A1, among other things. It is good to be on board and I hope to be able to get some questions answered and maybe answer a few myself.
I'm 60years old. My father was a WWW ll vet in the 635th AAA(AW) Bn. Bought my first M1 this year. After cleaning it up, discovered 24 notches on the forearm. Very fun to shoot. Will be using it for deer hunting this year.:)

I am new to this whole thing and never really had much interest in collecting antique firearms. I have owned an AK47 for two years (not that its a collectable or anything) but just recently I received a 1941 Enfield No.2 Mark1 revolver as inheritance. Its this revolver that brought me to your website in search of a firing pin (hammer nose). I look forward to meeting you gentlemen and learning about this cool hobby.
