Of course if you do get awful side effects from any of these vaccines, regardless of the name, thats exactly what you want, its YOUR immune system fighting whats been put into you and therefore produces the anti bodies to combat it................well done to those who have trusted in science for one, and hope those that are reading this and turned the virus down, thinking there's a conspiracy afoot...................hope you recover quickly thats all I can say.

Please take it when offered, its been tested by so many people to get it right to stop this pandemic.
Like Measles, it needs a vaccine for people to recover from it as simple as that.

When you next throw a beer down your throat, where's that water come from that made that beer...........you haven't got a clue have you, but you trust in the beer manufacturer to give you a consistant product????? :thup:

My Mum is 88, she was unlucky and had a bad reaction to the first jab, serious vomiting for a couple of days. It really knocked her for six.
Then a couple weeks after was hospitalised with a stroke. Luckiliy she's not too bad now and has moved to a good nursing home.

Dad got both jabs of the Pfizer. 85 and no side effects whatsoever.
After three weeks from the second dose he still jumps like a horse.

Glad to hear she is on the mend.
She can take heart, that the vaccine in her particular system was working, as her immune system fought it and now is protected ready for the followup injection.

we are just looking forward to when we can drive over to the UK and have a proper visit. At least my brother is local and in constant touch with her.

Just had mine guys, at Bath Racecourse, extremely well organised.

Sadly, no surgar cube afterwards, but I did keep a weary eye on the vet with the revolver...

I wouldn't advise turning up with a limp!

Back on the mend John, but been a roller coaster since I got Covid last year, just when you think your doing good another door slams in your face, had the squirts for just under 3 weeks due to Campylobacter (food poisoning), but one day of antibiotics and I was producing dry wind....... still had to be careful though, but what a relief.........

Long covid has many side effects , with me its tiredness /fatigue, not as bad as I first was but still not pleasant, I know someone who suffers the same plus memory loss, she is in the NHS got it early on last year, been in and out of work since, she had to go part time i the end with a review in another a few months.

Its why I cant understand these wankers who don't adhere to the mask in the shops etc and wont keep there distance, vaccine may be here but were not out the woods by a long shot.

With the EU third wave coming lets keep our fingers crossed for everyone, I just hope the penny drops with all the EU citizens and make sure the EU leaders are hung out to dry after this.

Absolutely mate, we still get the odd drunken p***k going into local co-op without a mask and abusing the staff...

I happened to be in there last week when one of these drunk, dim witted fools came in, I advised him to leave, as he was putting the staff at risk, he told me where I could go and what I could do when I got there...

I then advised him that the next step involved my boot and his ***, so he left hurling insults and knocking things over....

You simply can't educate Pork...

No serious side effects so far, it's spiked up my arthritis a tad and I had a mild temperature last night, but hay ho, no complaints here, 'so' grateful to be vaccinated!
