I hail from north central Alberta, Canada.
I've only gotten into the hunting, shooting reloading thing in the past four years.

After trolling the site for info, I joined to learn about a martini I procured recently.
Pictures will be posted soon to solicit global commentary on my find.
I'm looking for anyone in my area who would be able to meet.

Hi everyone, I am the new owner of a 1943 S.A. M1. I purchased it at a gun show from a gentlem that said it was from his gun private collection, not from a dealer. My first project is to clean refinish the stock. As I disassemble and inspect it I will attempt to identify all the part and drawing numbers. I allready seen it was rebarreled in 1951. I am a member of the "Garand Collertor Association". I have a data sheet, from them, to record the info. I must search for it.
This my second vintage firearm. Last year I was able to purchase a 1917 P-08 Luger. It has all matching numbers including the magazine.
