Welcome new members..:)
Just an FYI, if you have a question find the appropriate forum and post it there, you are unlikely to get a reply if it's asked in here.

Glad to be involved with the group. I'm in the process of starting a home gunsmith/armorers shop and getting off the federal dole of disability and back to taxpaying. I'll be pleased to help where I can as well as accept help when offered.
Glad to be here

Hello.
New guy here from Northern California.
I've owned a Springfield M1 Garand and a Russian capture (I think) K98k. I've sold them off as my interests changed, but I still have fond memories of 'em.
Good to be on a forum like this, looking forward to reading and learning.
Have a good 'un,
Jay
Well, I am a Black Rifle guy who was given the opportunity recently to shoot several old warhorses and .....
now I have the bug.
Please help me!
My 1st Lee Enfield and a K31 already on their way.
Hello, new here, just wanted to stop in.
Hey,
Had a really nice M1 for over 25 years before it was stolen two years ago. I was distraught to say the least. My loving wife gave me $1500 from our tax return and told me to go buy a Garand with it, so I did. I found a really nice 5959xxx SA in 762 for $1200 on GB and bought it. Now I am looking for some help knowing just what I bought. The only markings I can readily see on what looks like new barrel ( no rub marks from the op rod) is: 762MM where all of the barrel markings should be. There are no cartouches on the nearly pristine stock, and all of the internals look nearly new as well. I will be searching the posts for info, but if you have any ideas, please feel free to PM me, I would sure appreciate it.
Thanks,
Greg
Im a new member to the forum. Like what I have seen so far. It has been very informative and enlightening. I am a regular guy who has a keen interest in military history and collecting historical and military firearms.
G'day. Just signed up so I can browse and absorb. I'm more of a general accumulator than a collector - I just like military rifles and am slowly building a representative collection.
I hope to find a decent Ross some day, for the straight-pull and Canadian aspects of the collection
New Member here and would love to learn more! I'm also 14!
