Hello all! I generally hang out on Gunboards, but recently joined here and thought I'd say "hullo"... My primary interests are Mosin-Nagants and RC German Mausers, but as with most of us collectors I have a tendency to "drift" into other areas... I've got a weakness for unusual Steyr M.95's, .32ACP military pistols and just about any military Mauser platform.

Rifle is in pretty bad shape..lot of surface rust which I have cleaned up decently. Now I am trying to decide if I want to restore to original 1918 or restore to a nice sporter. It would need all wood, nose piece and magazine to start with.
I found milsurps when i was looking for info on Lee Enfield 303 rifles. I repair machine tools for a living, (CNC and manual machines) and have a very well equipped home shop. I've been in the machining trade since the late 1980's and would like to learn gun smithing to do a few repairs and modifications.
There is a wealth of information here on this site and I will be reading as much as I can for now.
