Hello, I have been viewing these forums for some time now and just registered. I have a mark 1 #3, P17, and a Mauser 8MM, That I have been told that it is a Mauser Civilian manufacture Sporter during the war. 1944???. Looking for insights and just doing the research and looking at every one's eye candy!
Howdy,
First post here Gents. Post on some other forums using the same userid, so Hi! to those who have 'seen' me around.
Let's see. I'll be 65 in less than 3 weeks, two tours in Vietnam between 68-72. Then school and a quarter century with the Agency. Lived in a lot of places but am settled now in the mountains of Western NC. Far south as I could get & as high as I could afford (not 'Denver high' but It'll do), and yes, pun intended.
Been collecting guns since 1962 when I bought a 1863 Springfield for $40 in Stone Mountain, GA. I have weapons dating from the 14th century (Japanese sword) to an AR I put together this year. Mostly 19th/20th Century though. Mostly WWI, WWII, Korea, & Vietnam.
I know a lot about a little and a little about a lot. For some strange reason I like the SKS & Japanese WWII. Go figure. Also Mosins, French, US, and of course The War of Northern Aggression.
Cheers!
Hello all. Been collecting surplus firearms for the last 6 years or so. Always looking for good information. Currently live in Texas.
Hi

Hello
I'm a new member with an interest in Swedish Mausers, mainly m94. Many questions and searches for misc. parts
This is my first post on the forum and I wanted to say a big hello to all the fellow collectors of historical weaponry. Having been a fan of antique weaponry for many years and been lucky enough to shoot them as well, what fitting forum to join. Having a keen interest in long range target acquisition using historic optical equipment's I'm sure I wont be stuck for good conversation or help.
Regards
Mac
