Hello,
I'm new to this so bear with me. I've been working on guns for the last 35 years or so, and occasionally I run across something that I need a little help identifying. I thought this would be the place to find out more about the Enfield I picked up this week. I'll be posting some pics soon, and look forward to hearing your comments. Thanks.
Hello, fellow Milsurps ! I have collected moderately for 4 yrs. I work at the premier Navy shipyard on the East coast ,Bath Iron works. Here's a partial list of some of the surplus firearms I own: Ishapore MkI 2A, M1 Garand, Bergendorff Mauser 98, K31 Swiss carbine, Remington 1903A3 and 2 Mosin -Nagant 91/30's that my wife refers to as the Russian twins and a Winchester 1897 12ga.trench gun.
Good day to all members.
Glad I found this site as I love military firearms!
I live in France both in val de Loire (near Chinon) and in Brittany on sea side near Quimper.
I'm vétérinary surgeon for small animals but I now stopped to work. I'm the boss of a shooting club an I practize compétitions with military weapons. I' m also a collector of Springfield 1903 rifles ( I have eleven, all différents). Excuse my English but I have not practize since school. ALain
Ok, checking in with the site. Greetings everyone, just a newb here so go easy on me...:)
Hi to everyone! Recently joined the group and looking forward to mingling, talking and learning lots about lots, but in particular my hobby of a few years, binoculars. Already recognise this as a GREAT forum site - plenty of talent out there!!
Hi,
My name is Guy and I've been collecting for about 20 years. I have served in the Royal Air Force and now volunteer running the armoury at a small local museum. We have Martini-Henry onwards through Metford, up to L1A1. Our oddest is a L4 Bren that started as a mk1 in .303 before being converted in India in 1966 to the L4 type. It had the drum sight removed and an L4 welded on!

I am a C & R collector, shooter, hunter, and NRA member located in a state with restrictive gun laws. We are gun range poor but have ample opportunity to hunt. I have used the Milsurps site and would like to see it continue to provide easy access to good information.
