I am still asking more questions than answering, so I"m looking forward to learning more about the battle rifles I am now shooting. Your forum has been a big help to me as I have gathered battle rifles for my grandchildren.

Hi, New guy here, Collecting Military weapons 50 years, retired military 39 years . Smsgt N.C.B., U.S.A.F. Special Operations Command.
Hope to use this site for references and other members input. Started when my son bought a Noveske AR15. I went out and bought a POF AR15 so we could shoot together. After shooting for awhile I decided I would like to have guns that I carried in Viet Nam. So went out and bought a !980 Pre-ban M1A1 Super Match. Which I bought at a gun show as a NM at loaded prices. Really enjoy shooting it. Then I looked at M16's. Hated when they took my M14 away and issued me one of the early M16's. I picked up early M16 parts from Sarco. 60's-70 parts. Since I started shooting it . My POF hasn't been out much. Decided to Build a second one. Both great shooters. I would like to also pick up a M1. Further thinking is why not pick up a 1903. So recently I ran into a Springfield 1903 sporter. Much Cheaper than an original 1903. It's a beautiful rifle but I know nothing about them. So I hope the knowledge will be forth coming from this site.
Looking for a magazine (clip) for a 1899 Remington lee rifle in 30-40 (30 US).
Hello everyone. Guy with an Enfield here just looking for a little info on keeping it running and making slight changes, i.e., sights. Looks like a good source of information.
Hello,
I have been a member of the forum for a while, but only today tried to post to a member, so I will do a short bio as required.
My interests are primarily in WWI and WWII armaments, and I have been collecting rifles, with a particular focus in Garands, for many years. More recently, I have branched out and have been collecting or building faux snipers from the WWII period out of parts. Just today lucked into a sporterized Ross Mark II and am now looking for the parts needed to restore it to its original configuration.

I look forward to learning and talking with all of the members now that I have joined. I am restoring an Egyptian Hakim rifle and have found a 1949 Hakim bayonet on line. It does not have the screw and lug to attach it to the rifle but I was able to find this on line. Unfortunately it does not have the spring and that is what I am looking for. Does anyone have one for sale, or know where I can get one?
Hello everyone, my name is Mike and I am new to the forum. I just purchased a Lee Enfield and need to find out exactly which one I have.
