I am a new member from Brisbane Australia.
More of a shooter than a collector but have a special
interest in older bolt actions with a little history.
I do collect a variety of bolt guns from Lee Enfields to Nagants.
Try and keep one of different designs for a little variety
Take part in Competitive Service Rifle Shooting with
not too much success.

I used to hunt and shoot quite a bit but stopped 23 years ago to concentrate on raising my family. I have always loved guns and now want to add some military surplus guns to my collection. I'll do my best to contribute and hope to get to know some of you well.

I'm a new member here--just bought my first-ever vintage military rifle, an MAS-36. I've enjoyed reading about it here, and I even found out that it's a pre-WWII manufacture.

Hello, just registered here.
Not a real milsurp collector, but have had a Remington M1903, a couple of M1 Garands, as well as an M1A.
I'm currently considering getting a Remington 1903A3, but want some to do some research and gather some input.

Hello to all. I have an M1 Garand and an M1 carbine. I want get a 1903 Springfield but am hesitant to buy online again. I bought the Garand on the Gunbroker site and it required a huge amount of work to have it look and shoot good. My carbine is a new James River Armory model and although I am not thrilled with it, it is a decent firearm . I don't care about my future Springfield being all "correct" or having a stock with a lot of history. I just want it to be a reliable shooter and not have any issues. There is a place in Pennsylvania named Sarco that has Parts rifles for under $ 600.00. Would this kind of build be any good? Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Thanks for any help you can provide.
Hello all from the latest new member, the names Nick and I live in the county of Wiltshire in the UK. I have an interest in Military history, especially the 43rd Division post Normandy. I served 23 years in the army myself and have been lucky to meet veterans from the 43rd Div in Normandy last year. I recently bought a deac 1938 SMLE, its a bit of a mess, just the metal, so hopefully I can bring it back to a decent standard, so any advise or help would be very welcomed.
