I applied the PC Rot Terminator this evening. I first drilled a few holed into the stock in places where the butt plate will cover them. Pretty easy to use and it has a pleasant smell which is surprising for this type of product. I used a toothbrush to rub it in a bit and applied it numerous times as it soaked in. It says it will take 24 hours to cure so now I wait. The drill bit hit solid wood pretty fast so it does not appear to have gone any deeper than 3/8's of an inch in any given direction which I thought surprising considering how bad it looks. I also got some wood fill in walnut color which I can sense I am not going to be happy with at all. I'm thinking instead that if this hardener does indeed work, that I may cut small lengths of thin wood to fill the biggest gaps, glue them in place and then sand them down to flush That way I'll have some grain in it. I have to think on it a bit
