I would also like to acquire a muzzle erosion gauge for Lithgow Lee Enfield 303 barrels. Am I correct to interpret Canadian barrels have different go/no-go muzzle erosion measures then their British counterparts - can I assume Australia (Lithgow) is the same as the British? Do any of the original posters have an update on availability of commercial source for a muzzle erosion gauge?

I do not know the answer re acceptable muzzle erosion, but it is quite likely that there are different specs as you are comparing two very different rifles, the Canadians only manufactured the No4 and the Aussies only manufactured the No1

I was on the APEX Surplus website a couple of weeks ago and he has the run and plug gauges, (.301, .307 and .310), available.
