Hello good people.
I am just another aging gun guy looking for a place to learn more about some Military Surplus guns that have struck my fancy.
Guns I own:
K98 Mauser - this was a WW-II bring-back from my great uncle Banty. At least I think it is a K98 because that's what I was told by my grandfather when he gave it to me for my 12th birthday. I will take some detailed pictures of it to post here. I'm hoping to learn more about this rifle from you more knowledgeable folk.
WZ-48 Polish Trainer - I just bought this rifle last week. She is in very nice condition and shoots like a dream. The serial numbers don't match but that doesn't bother me. I bought it to shoot. I'm already in love with this lady. She has sleek lines.
8mm LeBel Revolver - I've owned this old gal since I was 10 years old. I purchased it at a farm auction in the summer of 1962 for $10.00. She came with a sock full of ammo that was shot up in one week.
Anyways I look forward to learning a lot from you folk.

.
And really enjoying the question and answers
Hello all, I have just joined after reading a couple things on the post. I am an avid CMP games shooter and a GSM for them . My club host about 9 ( 2 Match ) days a year. I collect the old rifles and love shooting them. Look forward to spending a few hours a week on this, ebbie
Hi, I'm Adam and I am from Brisbane QLD, Australia. I recently bought a 1942 Savage No.4 Mk 1* rifle and have started to shoot with a club on weekends.
Hello All. I am a Lee Enfield collector who is interested in all aspects of the rifles.
Hi! My name is Jan, and I'm Norwegian. I have collected militaria for some years. First, when I was young and poor, I went for cheap bayonets from all over the world. Later I got more into German bayonets, but that also changed, so no it's mostly British military guns and blades I go after. And some US also. My favorites are Lee Enfields I guess, but I can rarly keep my hands from any of the UK/US guns from WWI/II, and the Victorian times are also very much appreciated. I found this site to be full of knowledge and serious collectors, so I hope to learn stuff that I usually don't find information on here in Norway.
Best regards
I am Myra in Oregon/Arizona. I'm not really a new member, but it has been at least 7 years since I've posted. We moved from Oregon to Arizona during that time. I mostly help Al in Oregon with his posts and computer work, although I do target shoot with a variety of firearms (M1 Carbine, Ruger 10/22, Colt Woodsman .22, Ruger Mk II .22, and participating in CMP Sniper Matches with a 1903). If you see any listings of rifles for sale by Al in Oregon, he takes the photos and writes the copy but both the photos and copy have been massaged by my fingers. Hello to all.
Hello all: I'm primarily interested in Norwegian and Swedish military rifles; I like to shoot them, just to see how well they can function.
