Interested mostly in Victorian era weapons and headgear. Trapdoors, Krags , Martinis and Enfields. Here to learn.
:) I have a Lithgow SMLE III* built in 1945 but it has no military markings. Will post all the markings and stamps that I can find upon disassembly.
Hello. As a new member would like to say thanks to all of you and am just starting my collection. I'm an ex-Canadian infantry soldier and have always been interested in the infantry soldier rifles of WW1 and WW2. That's my interest right now. I hope you folks don't mind me seeing your posts and commenting. Cheers. Mario Madau
Hello I missed this when I joined some weeks back.
From South Africa. Avid shooter, enjoy the smell of burnt powder and have a liking for old military style rifles and handguns.
I like long walks in the rain, especially in bird season and my GSP is with me :)

Hello, everyone. I'm new, but I own something that's very old.
Thank you for allowing me to become a member. I served 20 years in the Marine Corps. Was issued a M1 Garand in boot camp which set in motion my getting my own after retiring. Since then I have collected 5 Garand's, the 03 series, a carbine and several different foreign firearms.
Hello all.I have been collecting and shooting milsurps since 1964.IMHO,old rifles have a "soul" that modern guns can't come close to.I enjoy old .22 rifles for the same reason. Thanks for all the helpful info on this forum.
Hi
I am a back yard, very amateur machinist, who makes air soft guns as a hobby and as a method of learning new things.
I have made a number of air soft guns including an mp 3008, Owen gun, Lee enfield No1 mk3.
I arrive at these forum looking for Bren gun drawings for my next project.
Very impressed with the amount of information here
