I've just got a Lee Enfield .303 1943, 4 Mk1 / 3 (f) FTR.49 US Property,
serial # .47C9862 I know very little about this rifle if any one could point me in the right direction to find out more I would appreciate it.

hello everyone, . i am still new to this electronic stuff. i came to this site trying to find out more about this 303 brit. i was doing an old boy a favor, he needed some money so i now own another rifle.it doesn,t have full furniture like all the other ones that i,ve seen. the ser.# and markings are no 4 mk1 rof(f)ftr 1942 G06217 This is the only G i have seen in ser. #s .i am probably looking in the wrong places. any help would be appreciated, i would like to go farther with this rifle.
