hello from steeler country i pickedup a m1917 and it's in nice shape i'm going to shoot mainly cast out of it but the groove is a little rough . from what i've read it was cut that way .i'm going to start with some light jacked loads with .308s ( 110 or 125s ) i used to shoot them at 200yds in competition i hope this will smooth out the groove a little . since these barrels are supposed to be .300 .310 is anyone shooting ( 123grs 310s from hornaday ) ?
New to collecting and Milsurplus
Hi, I'm new at collecting. Live in the PRK, unfortunately. I'm half-way into a 10 day wait on a Yugo 59/66. I'm looking forward to cleaning it up. I've applied for a C&R FFL which I should get in about 8 weeks or so. Then I hope to expand my collection.
