Hello there, I've been a new member for a few weeks , but I'm introducing myself now.
I'm interested on Canadian sniper equipment of World War Two and the Korean War (rifles, scopes, telescopes, binoculars, and such), and I'm learning very interesting stuff for my projects.
I wish I could start a thread about the topics above, but I cannot find the way to.
Thanks for all the information uploaded, sure it helps many people worldwide.
Cheers.
Good day to all from the Ottawa Valley, been reading some of the threads regarding the SMLE 303 rebuilds and the information as well as the questions prompted me to join. all very informative and useful.
Thank you
Hello to all from Ontario, Canada.
Im a long time shooter and have recently acquired a couple of rifles......one being a MK111 Ross sporter and the other a Longbranch Enfield in .303 Epps.
Both are in great condition and excellent shooters. Im impressed with the amount of knowledge gathered on this site and will probably be spending hours reading the posts.
.......Rob
Another new member today. Not new to surplus guns at all; have ad a bunch for a long time.
Also a member of AR15.com and other forums; but it was about time I made it up to here as well.
Hi all!
Hello?
I'm kilopi505 from the Philippines, and I'm interested in firearms because of the stories I'm writing that had guns being used. Especially this one character that calls the SMLE Mark 3 "The rifle of the gods"
Hello fellow collectors!
I have been collecting milsurps for a few years now and am hoping this will be a good resource to learn about the firearms I have and will get plus share information I have found.
Been doing Milsurp for about 30+ years & were getting older at the same rate:D
Thanks for having such a great forum!
My name is Rob Fates. I live in Alamo, California, USA. I'm 75 years old as of this writing. I have been a lifelong member of the National Rifle Association and have been involved in various forms of shooting sports and hunting since I was 11. Back in the 1950's I bought an SMLE No1*Mk3 rifle and over the years acquired missing parts and began to shoot it.
I want to use it in a 100-yd/200-yd match for cast bullets, another hobby. But, I have a PH13 rear sight and cannot get enough elevation on it for the 200-yd stage, despite filing down the foresight. Perhaps I can find a Central sight and the correct mounting plate?
I am currently classified as a Master-level Highpower and used to shoot the National Match Course, 200-yd Slow-fire standing, 200-yd rapid fire sitting, 300-yd rapid fire prone, and 600-yd slow fire prone. Also Palma matches. I am already enjoying learning about Enfields from this website.
Hi All. New to the forum and I'm interested in building a Remington 1903A3 from a receiver and a bolt. I'll apologize in advance for dumb questions but what I lack in knowledge I'll make up for in enthusiasm!
