Is there a scope number stamped on the top of the buttstock for 90L8128?
Good score on the LB Snipers. Many wait years just to get one, and you come up with 2 of them.

Number on stock is 44C, Went to an estate sale with a friend and actually found 3 of them near mint in the rafters along with 2 No4 MK2's in grease paper. Let my friend take one of each .Scopes were in a a different location in the house, one REL and two British scopes
Luck like that doesn't happen very often.
Hi stencollector gave you some incorrect info, in the first room I found 90L8128 correct scope # is 262C. I was invited to an estate sale with 5 other people where there were guns and militaria, in the first room I found two sniper scope canvas cases and one scope # 280C, 20 some canvas action covers as new and 20 some web slings then proceeded to the basement to view the guns , after the room cleared I looked up and between the rafters, hidden by a piece of plywood were 3 Long Branch NO 4 MK1 T's, 2 wrapped NO4 MK 2's and several No5 MK1 carbines, the friend who invited me asked if I was keeping them all and mentioned he would like a NO 4 MK1 T and NO 4 MK2 at which time i surrendered one of each. I didn't know until searching the Milsurps website that the scopes were numbered to the guns, I then realized I had scope 280C with matching rubber lined canvas case and wooden carrying case containing an inspection tag for rifle SN# 90L8309. This was the rifle I had passed on to my friend and as of today I have traded rifle SN# 90L8128 for # 90L8309 giving a completly matched unit. The other rifle I have is 90L8093 which needs scope# 44C. Ended up coming home with 2 mint Long Branch NO 4 T's a mint, one NO 4 MK2 wrapped in grease paper marked new, 1 Long Branch NO 4 MK 1, 2 mint Jungle Carbines 2 98 K's and a G43 and assorted odds and sods.
Okay, I have to say it!
Pictures or it didn't happen.
#1oilman - Just to let you know that there would have been TWO R.E.L. made C No. 32 scopes numbered 44-C. The first would be a C No. 32 MK. I (possibly remarked as a C No. 32 MK. IA) and that one is NOT matching your rifle. The other one, the one correct for your rifle, was a C No. 32 MK. 3. If it is still in its original bracket, the Canadian made bracket would have the rifle serial number engraved on the left side. It is also possible that if the this C No. 32 MK. 3 SN 44-C scope turns up it could be found mounted in a British bracket (mount) as scopes were moved around more than collectors would wish were the case.
Thanks for the info learning more and more each day.Would the same apply to 90L8128 which is stamped 262C
Posted some photos in the gallery under title Enfields and also Long Branch No4 MK 1* T I haven't had any luck putting a picture with a post yet
Regards
As far as I know, a 90L8xxx No.4 MK.I* (T) sniper rifle would have a C No. 32 MK.3 scope made by R.E.L. when it left S.A.L. at Long Branch.
