Hey All, New to these parts. Doing the required first post so I can PM. Since I'm here...
I have a SA 1903 MKI, 1,056,... I'm going to reinstall a rear sight collar. Sounds like a fairly involved project. Any input is appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan

Just getting into Mil/Surp guns. Looking forward to surfing the form :)

Fairly new to the world of gun collecting, happy to be here.
Howdy! Glad I found this site of like-minded collectors. I'm currently a doctor, but in my youth I was U.S. Army Infantry (hence the handle).
Currently, my oldest milsurp weapon is a Springfield March, 1945, M1 Garand.
Hope to learn more and collect more. I'm particularly interested in Enfields and 1903s.

2 Mk5 Jungle Carbines,one all matching numbers ( in the 3 didget range! 985 i think from memory).both kick like a mule.
1 1917 Enfield Cadet .22 caliber. Fun to shoot quite accurate also.

1 1906 Remington rolling block .22
1 Hollis double barrel shot gun, used during the break out at the Cowra Japanese Prisoner camp during 1945 in August.
Hello everyone from South Louisiana. This site looks loaded with info. Ready to get going.
Hello,
New to the group so just wanted to pop in and introduce myself. Not a die-hard collector. More of a guy who appreciates old things. I have a few TC muzzleloaders, a mosin or two and in about a week my first M95 straight pull.
I have been eye-balling a couple vetterlis and a Schmidt 96/11 (I haven't convinced the household finance officer in that yet lol).
Hope to learn a lot from you folks.
Gidday from NZ. New here. Keen on a number of things including 303B. Got more questions than contributions. Will poke them into appropriate threads as and when lol. Thanks for having me.
