Hello everyone out there on the world wide web. It is amazing what information is available at our finger tips now. Any way about me, I'm Rick Yuke a retired member of the RCAF, Canadian Forces, Canadian Armed Forces all the while keeping nearly the same trade for 37 years. My main interest is the Royal Canadian Army and it's equipment primarily 1939-45 though the RCA did keep using some WWII equipment right up to the 1970's. Thanks
Hi all, not sure if I am a collector...yet. I have shoot, and enjoy a Mosin Nagant 46, M 44, a 43, 91/30 we shoot a lot also. Just acquired a in need of rescue and love, another 91/30 from the Cabelas rack for $ 99.00. Not to forget a Universal 30 carbine, not milsurp but fun shooter.
new member joined to help uncle fix problem with 1903 bolt action rifle I myself am into some long range shooting and deer hunting seems to be a knowledgeable site not to familiar with older military weapons

Not infrequently a student will ask me for information and values of firearms owned by their family.
Always thought it best to cast around to various information sources besides my local, go-to contacts, so bear with me if I ask a question or two.
much appreciated

Just joined the forum and hoping to share with all of the great minds in the forum of any and all Lee Enfield matters.
Born and raised a Novocastrian ( a bloke from Newcastle, NSW Aus.) moved to CA in 1976, lived there for 40 years, moved to TN and after a year the mold affected my wife's immune system so now we are living here in the state of the free. AZ. And loving it.
Question how many serial numbers and where are they located on a 1918 Mki III *? I found two. One on the bolt handle and the other on the right side of the receiver above the barrel ?
Happy New Year to all.
AC.
