Hi all...I actually signed up awhile back but have yet to make a public post. I have a C&R and love collecting WW1 WW2 small arms with emphasis on Walther pistols and holsters. I just picked up a RIA 1903 with a Springfield serial number, correct C stock and 1928 SA barrel. I will be posting photos shortly. Its great to be here and i'm looking forward to sharing information with members on the MSC forum.
Test to see if I can post here and who I post as
Hello. I am Joe and greetings from frigid Illinois. Longtime handgun enthusiast who is new to owning Milsurp rifles. Just purchased my first Garand, and am in the process of hopefully getting a 1903. Since I’m new to the subject matter, this forum looked like a good place for guidance. Thank you.

Good morning. I simply want to say thank you for allowing me the opportunity to join your group. I am a 1911 and 1911a1 collector. Also I am a cowboy action and wild bunch shooter who re-loads his own target ammunition: 12ga 20ga .38 special and .45acp. I tentatively also plan to load 45 colt cartridges. My father had a distinguished military career in the army. WW2 and Korea. He was aware I had a keen interest in firearms, and had me shooting his Colt ace .22 at age eleven while living in Germany in 1964. The rest is history! Thanks again for your gracious invitation to join your group.
