Hello, I just acquired a Remington 1903A3. Let me introduce myself. I'm a retired service member. I served 8 years in the Marine Corps, then 13 years in the Army National Guard as a Master Recruiter. I'm very familiar with the 1903 as a Cadet in Navy JROTC using it for the Drill Team for 4 years. It was a rifle that I wanted to have in my collection for a long time. I recently was given the chance to own this fine rifle from another collector of 1903's.

Hello all. retired soldier with nearly four decades of service.. Infantry, armament repair and quartermaster duty.
My interests are to steal a phrase, diverse with a FN49, a M96/11 Smidt-Ruben, a Martini-Henry IV 577/450 and a M1879 Winchester-Hotchkiss amongst others resting in the safe.
Greetings one and all. I just joined the forum and appreciate all that each and every one of you does for this list. I have been following this list for awhile now and keep running into it when I'm doing research on line. So I said to myself...it's about time to join. This is a very knowledgeable and active group and I'm happy to be a member. Please let me know if you have any questions!
Be well, be safe, and my prayers and thanks to all who have given their lives:wave: to keep us safe and free,

Good Afternoon,
I grew up hunting and fishing in South East BC.
I recently joined this group to to learn a bit more about some older military rifles. In particular I am interested in Ross rifles.
Cheers
Hello everyone! Im a rookie here. But Im anxious to become a part of this community. I hope that I might meet others like me who are interested in military related firearms and what not.
Just checking in...deep interest in M1 Carbine,,,
I just found this forum yesterday (and after having to get help from Doug registering) just signed up this morning. I've been shooting for over 60 years, bought my first surplus rifle at 13 (an 1891 Argentine Mauser for $13.00), have been reloading for 43 years, collecting most my life (buying, using, and then selling for something else) and have had more milsurps than the average guy pass through my hands. I really enjoy firearms and I'm sure this will be a nice place to hang out.
Just saying Hi!
