I'm a longtime collector who just found your forum. Hello to everyone.
New Member Hello from Keystone
Hello to all - I'm an active hunter and fisherman and have been shooting skeet and collecting modern arms for a long time. Recently I was introduced to military surplus and I may have been bitten by the bug. I joined this site to learn and begin collecting. As long as my wife doesn't find out, this will be a great experience.
Hi. My name is Tweed, and I am addicted to Lee Enfields.
What more needs to be said? :)

I think [I] will like it here
Hello to all, not sure I'll stay due to the format
I have been with CSP for many many years. Their format is easy to use and the subjects are easily replied too. This new format is quite foreign and am not sure I will be participating.
It's a shame the Culvers can't correct their problems and have to revert to this type of forum. Whatever, nothing is forever and they will get old and die and be forgotten and no one will care anyway.

Cheers for old CSP; Long live the new CSP
CSP has been an old friend for a long time. I sincerely appreciate Gloria's and Dick's work on the original site that supports a family of shooters and historians.
I hope that in the future Gloria will be able to find a new home that mimics the style of the original CSP, because in my opinion, it is one of the best and easiest to use boards on the Internet. The colors and style of threads are very easy to use and to recognize new postings and how threads work.
My thanks to Milsurps.com for hosting the new CSP for the time being. Unfortunately, the Milsurps board is not to my taste as it has a relatively ugly and clunky interface and is not nearly as cheerful as CSP.
Let hope the future brings more joy.

Thanks! For rescuing CSP!
So glad the loyal remnant of the CSP community has found a new home!

Time to stop lurking and join in
Not really new to the forum. It is one of several I read. Today I am transferring from the CSP forum. I am happily retired from law enforcement and have a lot of interest in Milsurp type firearms. Over the years have had many great guns but finances being what they are many were traded for different ones. I still have several M1 Carbines, M1 Rifles, British 303's and at least one Yugo, Carcano, Jap, Swede, AR, several shotguns (never very interested) bunch of pistols Colt and Smith & Wesson. Like .22 Target rifles and I have a couple of 03's converted to sporters by not Bubba but by name gunsmiths.
