Be sure and read the shuffin parkerizing website under the war room forum,
where they talk about wanting to close down the CMP and get rid of the GCA.
Maybe you can guide me to the exact place these statements are made. I looked at this website and saw nothing of this sort.
In any case, since folks here have maintained that "Just Ask CMP if yoou want to have the same privelege as the GCA", it's reasonable for another group to have the opportunity at CMP besides the GCA.

Sad how they faked my name over there in many different ways because I didnt put up with there mean heartedness and belitteling of people. What started it all was me calling out fake cartouches and the owner fakes them without marking them. Rick B
I've had Mr. Shufflin repair my stocks and he used to require a mark just to have your stock repaired. Do you require a mark to have a collectors type stock repaired Rick?
Tim also used to require a brand in his stocks when he place repro cartoucheons on them. He quit that practice a while ago. He quit it because it did not make anyone happy including you Rick. I saw the post on the CMP where you told him that his brand meant nothing. You damned him when he did brand his stocks and you damn him again now. You are truly a better man than him.
One more thing, RCS the comments you speak of regarding closing down the CMP are not Mr. Shufflin's or any "they". The comments are from one person. Saying this is no different than if someone here stated the same remark and someone else said this forum wanted to close down the CMP. This is simply a lie.
Let me take the time here to set the record straight.
I am one of the people working on putting together an opportunity for collectors to help out at the CMP.
We are in the process of gathering names to submit to the CMP. We are also in the process of submitting the required forms to become a CMP affiliated club that will qualify the members to purchase directly from the CMP.
There has been hours of time devoted to this endeavor and we are exploring the feasibility of making this happen.
The official position of the club has nothing to do with cherry picking rifles, smashing the GCA or any other club.
There are hundreds of people out there who were not allowed to go to the GCA convention and would love to help the CMP.
The forum quoted by some here in this thread has a separate area that allows members to speak their mind about numerous subjects. One of the threads spoke about some select GCA members touting how they were allowed to purchase rifles.
As usual there are some who go out of their way to ruin this change for people to get the same access that the GCA had to the CMP.
Finally Orest has not made any arrangements with me or anyone else to purchase rifles from the CMP.
If you visit the CMP forum thread about the M1 Collectors Club there are several who are making fools of themselves.
Shuff should apologize (on his website as he is not allowed to post on the CMP website) for allowing those degusting posts about the CMP and GCA to appear on his website. He still will not remove them either - which indicates his attitude towards both the CMP and GCA.
They all had the chance to join the GCA and convention, but mh53 will mask his contempt with a long winded story about forming a club
AS a long-time GCA member, I consider it a true exercise in Democracy that a new club, dedicated to the history and collection of our Rifle, has an equal chance of participating in the efforts of the CMP.
As a former volunteer at the CMP, back in '98 '99, it was a real joy to be able to clean the rifles that came in. I had no opportunity to buy any of those rifles.
I figured that the furor over the great GCA "cherry picking" session of a few years ago would have prevented the repetition of such, but that's what we saw over the past week.
I welcome the possibility of an alternate club being able to be recognized by the CMP. It can only result in a positive outcome for the CMP and it's mission.
I'm sure thousands of GCA members agree...
In the meantime, let's keep the discussion civil and without ad homimum attacks...
