Enfield markings

Good day, I am new to this so bear with me, I have a enfield with two sets of markings as follows, on the left band it has BO then M 1944 under that it says 18864 stamped, on the receiver it has No4 Mk1 stamped, also No4 Mk11 FL and under that /49 BO18864 written in electric pencil. it has been sporterised ,stock says churchill london gunmakers on the butt stock on the top right of barrel it has 303 2.22 under that NP18.5 tonswith a stamp that I can't quite make out. the bolt has AU 15215 stamped on that end of barrel looks to cut after the front sights, there is a taper where the sight is mounted, but the barrel only sticks out about 3/8 of inch past the sight. look forward to hearing from you . thanks

Second to last sentence, starting 'thebolt has......'. ending in '....past the sight'. What are you talking about? The bolt or the sight or ....... what? Clearly the whole para needs a bit more elaboration or thought if I might be so bold as to mention it

Sounds like the rifle has been upgraded to Mk1/2 status after the war and then sporterised for the North American market by Churchill's.. It has the usual commercial proof marks. The bolt has come from another rifle. Perhaps someone has shortened the barrel, either to correct a defect or because they wanted it that way.

I guess I got a little excited about finding some info, sorry for the bad grammer. I should have stated that the number for the bolt was on the handle and the trigger comes off with the trigger guard. Upon further inspection and looking at photos of other ones posted here that instead of saying No4Mk11 it might be No4Mk1 and the start of a bracket around the letter F, the pencil marks are pretty faint. When I figure out how to post photos I will. I guess what I am looking for is the year it was made and where it was made and any other info that comes from these markings. Like I said I am new to this, I haven't had a chance to look elsewhere on this website but I am looking forward to it. Once again thanks for the info.

Sounds like a 1944 ROF Maltby produced rifle with a '43 Maltby bolt. FTR'd at ROF Fazakerly in 1949.
