Jumpers with the seldom seen hand cart...what's that one small wheel off to the right?
The small wheel is the handcart's wheel of what you speak . OR are you thinking the 75mm pac is a handcart ? Figure it is from Bastone ?
Chris
Pac crews were Glider Riders , did they wear para helments ?
Chris
Watched the classic "The Longest Day" the other night. Lots of great actors in that one even real heros Like Eddie Albert. Even had a young Shaun Connery with a Bren. If you haven't seen in in a while (like me) watch it again.
Time well spent.
The M3A4 hand cart I had had the tractor type tread tire and small wheel like the one at the far right . Yeah, seeing hand carts is kind of neat.
The last three pictures on this linked page shows 325th Glider Infantry. They appear to be wearing 'jump boots'.

So they do. Wonder if the pic is labelled correctly? Wonder if they're qualified Para also? The other pics below that show close ups and they all appear to have jump wings. I know there's a couple other guys around here know for sure...now where are they?
