The fees can be prohibitive and that's why more of us don't do it. There are many hoops for the dealer or broker to jump through so it's expensive. You have to choose a broker or dealer and that will be the first step. You have to work with them on costs.
I am about to give up on that matter , iv'e called dozens of FFL dealers and none do it. if anyone knows a dealer that does can you let me know please :sos:
Try Questar in Barrie On. They do some of that.
ok got a response from a FFL dealer that ships to Canada here's what he wrote ... Fee to apply for export license (covers 1 - 5 different models, regardless of quantity per model): USD 300
Shipping cost to Canada (most likely to your local post office), U.S. Post Priority, tracking no., insured: USD 60
Call our Department of Justice tell'em your a Drug cartel mule and they'll ship it to you no fees or anything.
I have imported many firearms from the USA to Canada with no I repeat NO problems what so ever cost of 1 rifle or pistol is 250.00 Canadian +hst +approx. 5% border fee+shipping there is a 6 to 8 week wait for your firearm to reach Canada you just have to make sure that what your importing is worth it usually I can find it here in Canada for less or about the same money if you need more info contact me
I was looking to have a Mosin M-44 braught to Canada, the sale price in the US is 249$ . The fee's are more expensive then the gun , i may be crazy  but not that crazy :nono:
