Can anyone date this box of .303?

I picked up 10 boxes of this FMJ Remington .303 a few months back. The boxes are very plain jane. There are no dates on the boxes or on the head stamps. Just wondering how old this stuff might be?

I would say definitely not military by the "150gn" bullet, and the lack of "Mark" designation etc.

I would hazard a guess at 1960s "remanufactured" ammo for the hunting trade.

Except it's ball, with the M.C. marking...maybe for tgt or match...?

What does the head stamp read? I could be wrong but I don't think it's ''reman'' ammo with a Remington label on the box. It could've been made as late as the mid 80's, IIRC Remington opened a new ammo and component plant in Lonoke, Arkansas in 1979 and the Bridgeport plant completely closed in 1986. Perhaps it's an early version of the current U.M.C. line of ammo offered by Remington???
It's a longshot but if there's a lot number on the box it might be possible that Remington could provide some info on a manufacture date.

I think it's factory original ammo too. I think the box is sealed and that's why he's fishing a bit. Collector value on a sealed complete box. I don't think it's very valuable.

The only thing I could find like it was an identical, box that sold Ebay for $29.00. The box was empty.

It looks like it was made for export sales and not for retail sale in the US.

Photo is of some 6,5mm Carcano in the white box, it was stated that Oswald used this ammo in Dallas in 1963.

Most claim that this "white box" ammo was made after WW2 for OSS adventures and later came upon the surplus market in the 1950's

If you read this thread, it says that after WW2, the commercial ammo companies sold this generic white box ammo in military calibers to foreign gov'ts. You may even find the ammo packed on chargers (stripper clips) inside the box.
