I have a chance to buy a 5mil IHC. It is an older DCM gun, everything matches, small DAS stock and more than 95% finish, very few rounds thru the gun.
What would be a fair price?

I watched the IHC's on GunBroker for about a month this winter. A correct rifle with original finish at 95% would probably bring $1500 or more. If the 95% is US arsenal repark prices start about $1000 but id expect to have to pay more if its got the original barrel in fine condition.
Is the stock IHC? Does it have numbers in the stock channel and indentation on the stock by the operating rod? It will help determining the price.
One just sold on the cmp auction for around 3800, I guess they really wanted it.
If it's all original, & shows the spiral milling marks on the stock, $2,500 would be a fair price.
Here is a little more on the gun. It has a TE of 2.0 and the muzzle is a tiny bit over 1. The stock channel is 3514 and the stock is crispy and milled. It is not reparked and I am buying from the original civilian owner. After looking at it again and in better light it has probably 98% park and some minor storage dings in the stock.
I'm picking it up on Tuesday.
You better or I'll be there Wednesday.
Small 3/8" DAS would be HRA. A true IHC stock will have a 1/2" DAS, a non-serifed P in a circle and a Julian date stamped in the barrel channel.
look like this.
